The Minister of Tourism, Lahcen Haddad, hosted the signing of a partnership agreement between Hilton Worldwide and the Spanish Group: Inveravante in Rabat yesterday. The initial partnership agreement provides for the opening of two new hotels in Tangiers to be managed by Hilton Worldwide for the next 20 years. Located in the business district in the heart of Tangiers, both the Hilton Hotel & Residences and the Hilton Garden Inn are part of the Tangier City Center project. This project, developed by the Inveravante group, will comprise of the largest shopping center in the city as well as high end residential and business developments. The Hilton Garden Inn is scheduled to open its doors in December 2014 while Hilton Hotel & Residences is scheduled to open in April 2015.
