Construction works on the new wiring unit is expected to start on the 20th of April. The factory, which will require an investment of 25 million euros, will cover 18,000 m2 and is expected to create 150 new jobs. The date for entering into service has yet to be announced.
In Tangier, this cooperative and participative company, which develops products, systems and solutions for the car industry is likely to work closely with the Renault factory. Acome has been supplying Renault with car wires, wiring and multicore cabling for many years.
In 2014 Acome had a turnover of 405 million euros (5 billion MAD), of which 58% was international. The company employs nearly 1,400 employees and also works in construction and infrastructure.
