The car glass manufacturer AGC Automotive Europe has decided to create an industrial unit in Morocco to help better supply European and African markets.
AGC Automotive Europe, which is the European branch of the Japanese group Asahi Glass, has signed a partnership agreement with Induver Holding, a Moroccan glass manufacturer based in Casablanca. This agreement covers the construction of a factory in the region around Kenitra.
This factory should be operational by 2019 and will employ round 600 people. It will manufacture toughened glass for rear and side windows as well as laminated glass for windscreens.
