€10 million Italian investment in Tangier, a 1st for Africa.

The Italian car part manufacturer Sogefi, subsidiary of the CIR group, is set to build its first factory in Africa in Tangier.

This 10,000 m2 factory will be operational by 2018 and will manufacture 2 different models of engine filtration systems (a metallic diesel filter and an oil filtration filter). The factory will also produce Original Replacement parts (OES) for various types of vehicles. To begin with it will employ 120 people.

The area of this factory could be extended to 25,000 m2 by 2021, with the number of employees reaching 300 and annual sales of €60 million. Investment for this project has been set at around €10 Million.
