Casablanca finance city (CFC) held on to the top spot for financial investments on the continent according to the latest ranking by international firm Z/Yen of the GFCI (Global financial centres index). CFC was 30th around the world (out of a total of 88), moving up 2 places on the 2016 report and is now hot on the heels of Paris.
The Casablanca financial centre was ranked 3rd in the MENA region after Dubai (25th) and Abu Dhabi (28th).
In the opinion of Z/Yen, Casablanca will be one of the most important centres in the years to come. The GFCI index rates financial centres based on their competitiveness.
