Spanish group Teknia, specializing in the manufacturing of car parts, has opened a new production facility in Tangier. It will replace the former factory opened in 2010 in the same city.
According to the group’s press release, opening this new factory will help provide better services to clients. It will increase their production capacity and ability to assemble car parts at the unit located.
The new Teknia plant covers an area of 2,700 square meters in the Tangier Free Zone (TFZ). The company noted that these new facilities will be added to those of the company already operational in Spain, in Guadalajara, Barcelona, Bilbao, Biscay and Zaragoza.
They also consolidate the international presence of the group, which has factories in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Poland, the Czech Republic, Serbia and Turkey.
“The new Tangier factory reaffirms Teknia’s commitment to internationalization, as well as promoting close working relationships with our clients at an international level,” stated the Deputy CEO of the Group, Javier Quesada, quoted in the press release.
The Teknia factory in Tangier specializes in manufacturing parts for fuel systems, internal and external coatings, car seats and wiring.
